Because the density altitude is a big factor with drag racing. Same exact truck running at a track with a DA of 4000ft is going to perform much different than a track sea level in November with a DA of -800ft.

I'm aware of that just saying same day same track my Eco Boost truck ran better than the 5.0 truck that was the lighter Super Cab and the guys claiming the 2018 5.0 trucks are faster was not the case on Sunday!!!

I've never cared for the Raptor F-150. The prices on the Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited are high enough and some consider them over priced and over rated but I think the Raptor is over the top when it comes to that.

The mileage sucked on my '15 3.5 EB, I tracked every single fill up on Fuelly. Best MPG was 15.6, worst was 13.9, average came out to 14.9. That 15.6 mpg tank was with me going out of my way to use cruise control, no A/C, and maximizing highway usage. 98% of the time I had it in 2WD with roughly a 60/40 highway/city split of driving. I don't believe anyone who says they're getting 17-18 mpg unless it's pure highway only driving over a long trip (>100 miles). Sold my F150 though and don't own a truck anymore FWIW, the bad gas mileage was one factor in why I got rid of mine. Europe manages to get by with hatches and wagons, so I think I'll live without a truck.

How did you do that? Not sure I saw that in the Forscan document.

Fuelly might be worth looking at, but everyone lives and drives in a different environment. People in the Mountain states do benefit from higher elevation, usually the higher you are the better the fuel burn rate all other things equal. Then there is flatness, not a lot of hills in Florida, so except for traffic, not much change for the cruise control. T here are extremes in mountain roads, ,dirt roads, mud roads and all of that. Fuelly has a average of it all, but it won't answer how you use yours

I want enough gas to get where I am going, and the next station after that. I have 3.73's and they are not made for mileage, all steel and a six speed. It is six years old and just broke 28,000 so gas mileage is not critical to me as I don't use it enough.
