My first flight was in a Mooney Ranger. Beautiful plane. Still love it when I see one of those distinctive rudders fly by!

I hope I am in the right area of this site.

I need a new tail light lens or cover (left or drivers side) for a 2018 Ford F150 Platinum. I have googled and searched but have not really found anything. The lights and sensor are functioning just fine.

I have have attached a pic that shows just what I need.

I need a part number or website, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Much Thanks.

Fast and efficient. I planned for 116 knts and got 20 mpg ( statute). 3.2 hrs, nonstop Charlotte to okeechobe fl at 11-15k. Had O2 for 4. I wanted to do a tour of the Us but the medical issue stopped me. Did get to oshkosh in 11.
great memories

Check out fordparts.com, you can input your VIN to be sure parts are specific to your vehicle trim level. If it doesn't load properly on your browser, tray a different one, I got MS Edge to work, Chrome did not.

You'll be prompted to select a dealer, try a few and maybe they list discounted prices. Good luck!

@Myk4evr

you are looking at a whole lamp assembly, can't get just the red cover. You will have to swap over the BLIS module

May 10, 2018 purchase

June 5, 2018 install rear wheel wells

July 2018 Noticed tilted hitch receiver; thought it was just the angle I was looking at it.

August 2018 Did some measuring on hitch receiver as it was bugging me every time I looked at it. Called dealer to inquire they said “bring it in”. Very busy all summer; no time.

Nov 7 2018 8773 miles. Service appointment for transmission issues; hard shifting and slipping, howling in transfer case Said they re-programmed. I had forgotten about the hitch issue.

Mar 11 2019 Service appointment for transmission hard shifting again and slipping issue at start up after auto-stop or when shift from reverse to forward. They had the truck for over 10 days. Had to rent an SUV to take family vacation $1200

May 6, 2019 Had service appointment for slanted hitch receiver and transmission issues. I had forgotten about the hitch issue until I started towing again and noticed it right away again when I started towing again. Transmission seemed to be getting worse. When I arrived at 7am, dealer “technician” conversation went like this:

Hitch issue
tech: what is the first issue?
me: My receiver is slanted and I would like it fixed please
tech: (after looking at it) wow who installed your tow package?
me: since it is on the sticker, I am going to go with Ford
tech: you bent it, I can’t touch this
me: excuse me?
tech: yeah, look here, you hit something
me: you mean where the chain hooks have worn off the crappy paint job?
tech: you clearly hit something, I can see that you bent it and there is damage here
me: I didn’t hit anything, there are no stress marks. That is just rust from where the chain hooks rub
tech: maybe it was someone else driving your truck
me: no one else drives it
tech. It was hit, I cannot touch it
me: dude, there is no damage there. What are you even talking about?
tech: can’t touch it

Transmission issue
Tech: what is wrong with your transmission?
Me: (describe the issues)
Tech: there is nothing wrong with your transmission, if there was you would get a light on the dash
Me: excuse me?
Tech: Yeah, I have a Focus and it hesitates when I put in it in gear. There’s nothing wrong with your transmission.
Me: I need it looked at.
Tech: Well, we cannot give you a loaner
Me: I must have one, I have a job that depends on driving. They said they could give me one.
Tech: We don’t give them out if it is going to take less than a day
Me: Okay, so I can pick it up tonight?
Tech; We won’t know that until we look at it
Me: So, I can wait for that?
Tech: It might be this afternoon before we get to it
Me: I need a loaner, I must drive for my job
Tech: Only if it will take more than a day
Me: When will you know?
Tech: After we look at it
Me: So, if it is going to take more than a day, I have to come back (40 minutes away without traffic) and get the loaner?
Tech: If we have one, cannot guarantee it. There is no light on anyway, nothing wrong.
Me: I am out of here. (unprintable mumbling under my breath)

June 16, 2019 Loud, repeated banging noise when taking out of park. Repeated several times. Called dealer and said I need it fixed and fast, need loaner truck. He cannot get me a loaner truck and cannot get to looking at it “until maybe later next week”.

June 22, 2019 Went into dealer to try to work out an equitable trade for the truck. I was prepared to buy an F350 with a proven powertrain. Test drove a couple and picked one out. Ready to buy it. I explained my situation that I had to have a truck to work, that the one I bought has repeated issues, and I want to make an equitable deal. They wanted me to write a check for $6,000 to break even on my truck. After I put $5000 down, $4500 into a canopy and full custom bed lining, change oil religiously, not a scratch or ding anywhere on the entire truck, AND am having all these issues to where I cannot have confidence that it is safe to tow with. I walked out.
Past time for a different dealer! I've never been treated like this.

back in the 70's me and a friend were headed to LA to pick up some boat parts, he was set on buying a mooney, so he detoured by way of Kerville Texas and we were given a tour of the mooney factory, he was so impressed he came home and did buy one, great little plane.

On that tail light lense I saw my service manager replacing one and he told me the cost was somewhere around $1200 for that dang thing, sensors must be built into it! ouch!!!

Has anyone that has used the forscan to turn off the drift control noticed their vehicle steering better and less oscillating?

You have seen my posts and keep vocalizing about this so why don't you try it yourself? Then maybe you could give an informed response on the results.
