My 2018 F150 SCREW with 2.7 ecobost had an annoying loose rattle in the rear when going over slight bumps and turning at the same time. It turned out to be something with either the leaf springs themselves or the bands around them. Dealer replaced and noise went away. Could have been either quality control or a supplier cutting corners. Maybe they switched to a different supplier for their springs later. Noise has been gone for a year now. Also watch that the bolts holding down the bed are torqued correctly. I had a spray-in bedliner as part of the deal and they take them out when spraying so they don't get covered. Dealer re-torqued and that got rid of an occasional loose bed sound.

New steering wheel installed and recall complete. It will be interesting to see if this new wheel holds up any better.

[QUOTE=pvagabond;6160893]If you guy's are chasing a squeak or rattle from the rear of the truck check the right side back around the tail light and in the curve next to the tailgate, push on it, mine would go in and out 1/4" or so and squeak.....

That’s funny! Mine squeaks when you mash on the sheet metal too, but I have never noticed any noise from it while driving.

Please list your setup and if you got it resolved or not.

Mine
2018 King Ranch 4X4 3.5 eco, built Dearborn first week of September 17

Have only had one issue to date and was very minor. My intermittent wipers did not work at all since day one. Took to the dealer and they replace a switch and all is well again.

Have not had any other issues, truck runs and shifts perfectly. Currently getting about 3 MPG better than my 2015 with the same setup.

Post also if your truck is perfect!

Thanks
I bought the 2018 king Ranch 3.0 Diesel. This truck does not want to give up the fuel. Went 726 miles on one tank which holds 26 gallons. One issue is the typical color black ford any thing. Ford can paint but it is obvious black is not it. Ford will finish painting the truck. lots of primer. I had the Ram Eco Diesel which sat at the dealer for a year with no fix. then FC LLC bought it back. Now I have high hopes Ford's 3.0 diesel will have no issues. 3750 miles and just filled my 6th tank. 23.4 MPG city highway.

2018 SCREW - 4x4 - 5.0 - STX - Leadfoot
Truck has been perfect for almost 6K miles. Not one complaint. No rattles, no oil consumption issues, no nothing. I am very pleased with this truck.

Mine's approaching 3000 miles and it runs and rides great, no issues. Shouldn't be at this point!
2018 Platinum with the huge moonroof. It rides nicer than the 2015 Platinum V8 that I traded in, which I would have thought impossible.
The engine and transmission pairing is awesome and I'm getting 24.5 MPG on my daily commute, which is nice.
Nice truck, glad I bought it.

2018 Plat 3.5 EB SCREW, only issue at about 2800 miles since November has been the tailgate latch actuator failed. Replaced under warranty. My mileage is nowhere near 24 mpg (more like 15), but I'm mainly driving in city, getting feel for Eco vs. normal mode, and keep it out of Sport unless I need to lett'r rip. Quiet, reliable, smooth. Sounds more like a car, I know... Oh, I had a nail in the tire that Discount Tire helped me out on.

2018 XLT 3.5 Screw fx4, dash wavy so being replaced, and moonroof makes some noises sometimes depending on temperature outside. Had to replace lug nuts, not covered under warranty which is a total joke to me. Got after market ones for much less then the 200 they quoted me for more oem . Have 32,000 miles on it and am getting a little over 19mpg. Not excited to soon be out of warranty, atleast bumper to bumper. Engine has been great, transmission is good some days and some days its slow or clunky. Quality to dollar probably not to high, cheap interior plastics, doors and body panels don't line up to well. Positives are power, gas mileage, looks, and quiet ride, unless the moonroof is having a bad day.
