i had the same "brake warning" message on fordpass on my XLT with sync connect the first couple of days until i "retrained" myself to make sure to release the parking brake before shifting into drive.

Only issue I had with mine is some paint chips in odd places not from rocks. But thankfully, I'm quite good at fixing them. And the step bars are squeaky when I get in or get out. And leather seats get little loose, Nothing that hairdryer can't fix. Other than that, I'm good with my '18 F150.

Mine only made it 30 miles from the dealer before it went into neutral by itself going down the interstate, it was displaying every fault possible on the dash and the wrench icon was lit up. Luckily it was not overly busy and was able to coast up an off ramp and out of the way. Had heard about some new Raptors having some 10 spd issues so I shut it down to reset things. Truck would not restart and kept displaying faults- collision avoidance, hill decent, adaptive cruise, etc... Pretty sad sight seeing your absolutely brand new truck getting loaded onto a roll deck headed back to the dealer... I'm a really die hard Ford guy but I was (kind of still am) really regretting my decision to trade off my perfectly fine running and dependable 2012 FX4! The only bright spot was getting to drive a 2017 XLT loaner truck that had the 2.7L, that is a really impressive motor.
The "story" I was told by the dealer was that it had a bad transmission harness that had to be replaced. A couple weeks later I had the truck back and it has been basically fine since then. It does shift funny once and a while but that might be me just being so used to the good old 6spd's.
One odd thing that it does now that I have not seen on any other newer fords I have had is when I am maintaining speed while cruising with very little throttle input, (does not seem to matter what speed) the fuel economy bar dances around like crazy. It will bounce between 20-30 and everywhere in between. If I have some load on the motor it is steady as can be. Thinking about having the dealer just re-flash the computer.

Mine wouldn't start this morning and is still sitting in the driveway. 2018 F150 3.5EB w/3000 miles. I started it with the remote app, then when I went to really start it, it displayed a battery fail lamp and wouldn't run. Display shows Full Accessory Power available, and it tries to start, but shuts off immediately. No other messages.
So call Roadside assistance for a tow to dealer. Bad battery maybe. Never an issue up until today. We will see what happens.

Whew! Good to know it's not a mechanical issue. Maybe feedback to Ford/Fordpass would be better wording in the message so folk understand what's occurring that's causing this specific warning.

As I wasn't expecting an issue (this is at least the 10th time I've used the app to remote start it) I wasn't paying attention to the state of the app at the time. I have seen the app fail to remote start or unlock once or twice for reasons unknown although it did tell me it failed at least.

I have one of the first 2018's off the line in Dearborn. (See model & equip in signature) Currently have about 1600mi. Been a great truck so far, everything seems to work, but since we don't get much rain here in Phoenix, AZ, I don't know whether the wipers work or not. The only big issue is that on the XLT cloth seats seem to be wearing excessively. The bolster on the door side of both driver and passenger sides show bad wear. My old truck (2006 F250) had 100k on it and the seats were like new. I will be taking it in to the dealer for an explanation. Only one other small problem on the inside of the tailgate on the passenger side, the fender panel wraps around and bent and welded, there is a jagged edge that will inflict and extract many ounces of blood. I know this from experience. It needs a Dremel job, but then I would have to buy touch up paint. I think its a Ford responsibility.

My only complaints are the sync3 takes awhile to load up at start (Came from MFT so may be normal), rear camera quality seems worse than my 2015 and the transmission whine is a little over bearing but could just be as my 2.7 eco is quite. Again, not sure if its a actual issue but they are my observations. Boot video below. Normal?
