Default 2018 oil life% not showing

I just purchased a 2018 XLT sport 302a truck. While going through the screen in the dash there is no screen for the oil life percentage. It has the digital speedometer, DTE, trans temp, tire pressure, engine hours but no oil life where it should be. Any ideas on why it's not showing, dealer says it should be there but it's not.

There should be a menu option, likely near MyKey, that runs "diagnostics" or similar. One of the readings is the IOLM. There is no way to constantly display it, you have to run the "test".

I have not seen a prompt to select diagnostics but I will check again. I know that the oil percentage shows up on my wife's truck which is a 2017 XLT 302a.

In advanced settings it shows, vehicle, my key and display setup. Under vehicle it will only adjust the wipers for the courtesy wipe only. Under display setup it only shows units(miles), temp(farenheightll, tire pressure(psi)and language.

I thought you had the 8" screen. The manual for the XLT says it's under the vehicle tab in settings

I could not find it on my 2018. I used to have oil life remaining on my 2011. Watched the percentage drop over time - always checked it before long trips.

I think on the 2018 you get a notice at 10% remaining and another when "you need to change your oil now".

Looked at manual - scoured - simply could not find the remaining oil life. so if it is there - I look forward to using it>

Look on page 114 of the manual if you have the small display. It shows it under vehicle. Page 117 represents the next screen. It doesn't call it out explicitly. If not you may not have it. I have a 2017 so I can't go look.

Thanks. I know what the manual is and where it's located. the manual, starting at page 112, shows a bunch of information which applies to all the truck trims. Most of the items listed don't apply to mine.
