I am aware of thie auto learn when tires are swaped as my other vehiles do this.
My issue is that ford is telling me that the OEM TPMS isnt correct for the truck which is causing the issue of not learning to the truck.
Has anyone had a issue like this?
Do you have the parts # of the sensors? If you can get it the part number off the sensor itself, not a complete unit. looking at the screen of your pairing tool they should work. I went through all this on the other thread, read for yourself:

Really? I thought they were for older MY vehicles. I got this type to replace the original.

Truth be told I have never seen my original as they are still mounted. I went to the TASCA website using my VIN to get the replacement part #. There are differing part #s that use this sensor, the difference is the stem. Have you looked at the thread I linked to see the teaching procedure and tried that?

Hey Wicked.
Yes i have looked at the thread, I refrenced it back when i was searching prior to my post.
I have done a good job at keeping all my service at the ford dealer as they are my literal neighbor. however i went to one of my friends who owns a local autoshopand i asked him to attempt to learn the wheels as well. ( that is where i got those pictures from ) and with his device it would not program either.
I would be intrested to know if other factory 20" wheels have sensors like mine ( long with button cell battery on the one side) rather then the small flatsided sensors as dipicted in your photo ( TPMS35 model)

Once more, before you go off on a tangent, did you do the learn procedure in the PDF linked in the other post? I only say it because that is what worked for me.

Hi Wicked. Yes, we had completed the routine of igniton cycle and Brake press to activate the learning feature of the BCM while at my friends shop. And then attemplted to use his programer to active the TPMS's to no avail.
We then had also used the computer route as well..both would not program.

In this picture what is the number in the upper left? (315 F89A4) It is quite different than the other three.

Unknown. All 4 sensors have the same part number on it.
