Guy I work with had 2 bad goodyears on his new 2017. 275/55r20 was the size. Mine on my 2016 where fine. He had to take it to a local shop to get proof they were bad. That was after his dealer said they were fine and balanced.

How did the local shop “prove” they were bad?

They ran them on a balancer that said they were out of round. Got a paper showing so then took it to the dealer. They replaced them. Not sure if the big local shops have better balancers since that is all they do.

Truck is at Ford for its 2nd repair attempt. Repair 1 consisted of rebalance, replacement of 1 tire, and replacement of passenger rear shock.

Truck is smoother at all other speeds but still vibrates 72-78, worst at 76.

Also rear driver side tire has 2 valleys in the side wall, which according to google are called undulations and are normal. Ford rotated this tire to the left front and now at 65 i get a shake when turning right, which I’ve also brought to their attention.

Ill keep you posted. I’m still hoping for a 75mph smooth highway video from another HDPP member.

I will try to get one tomorrow, I'll have to get on the parkway to hit 75. I've been up to 60 and its smooth as can be.

its your drive shaft or pinion angle, mine will vibrate at 75 when towing a heavy load, without a load it drives fine. I would suggest either 2 things.. Remove the lift blocks from under the springs, the leaf springs are to soft for these trucks. Your feeling the effects of the axle wrapping under heavy loads. Removing the blocks helps prevent the axle wrapping. If you dont believe me throw a go pro underneath and load it up... its a bit scary to watch all the driveline vibration. I added lift shackles to replace the blocks for ride heaight purposes or if you tend to carry loads often, buy an set of add-a-leaf. Either way it makes the difference.

All my vibration is unloaded, and when I was loaded it vibrated exactly the same.
