What I don’t like about the grille is that the honeycomb mesh in the middle is open while the honeycomb mesh in the nostroles is closed. I like the idea of it being open and then plumbing one of the nostroles to the air box.

My dealer just got his first Lariat on the lot, so I stopped by to see the grill in person. As someone else said, seeing it in person makes a big difference. Wow, did it look sharp. He still has a ton of 17's left on his lot sitting next to this one, and it really looked great in comparison.

As others have also noticed, the Lariat seats look much more like the Platinum's with the same stitching now. Their online stock photos are definitely not up to date when you build it out.

I don't mind the tailgate or even the front on some trims - but I feel like I'm in the minority with the tail lights - not a fan.

I am the opposite; I really loved it in the pictures and wanted a 2018. Then I went to a dealer who had one and saw the same truck you posted pictures of and I really didn’t like it in person. The grille just looks less aggressive and too rounded. It looks good in your pictures but I wasn’t a big fan in person.

It made me completely satisfied to buy a 2017 for a couple thousand less between discounts and rebates.

Is that blue two tone a Lariat? I'm guessing so. I ordered a 2018 ruby red two tone lariat, but wasn't sure if the bumpers were painted or Chrome. Looks like chrome bumpers with the two tone on the 2018! I'm happy
