I know...I was just saying careful what you say to them and gave my example of what one did to me when I was trying to get them to total it.

There might be more damage under the back end than appears. My guess is the Honda nosed under the rear bumper a lot.

My bet is it gets fixed. Even with frame damage. I used to work part time at a ford dealership in college (2004-05) and seen similar wrecks get fixed. I've seen them replace a frame on a wreck like yours. Pulled everything off the damaged frame and bolted it back on the new frame. It was really cool to watch the whole process.

In addition to being illegal, she was probably texting as well.

Clearly texting. I hope you’re ok. Go see a chiropractor immediately and open up a case. Seriously. I have neck and back problems to this day from getting rear ended at a stop light years ago. Issues can and do come up long after your accident. Your insurance should be suing the girl for damages regardless of you doing it. If you need to get a judgement against her anyway. Getting your money is another story but without the judgement you’ve got nothing. You need to act as quickly as possible on this stuff. The 1st days are really important. Best of luck. I feel for you because I’ve been there. Try not to get caught up in the anger and focus on taking all the action against her you can. Days off work, inconveniences, doctors, discomfort. I’m so sorry. If that was my truck I’d be beside myself.

Your only prayer for a total is frame damage. Based on those two photos it will be fixed. The body shop will do everything possible to not have it totalled. They make nothing if it is totalled.

This is true. I am still waiting on payment for a judgement I got from a car wreck (idiot ran a light, going AROUND cars stopped in front of him) in 1986.
