Default 2018 f150 oem wheel liners

First off I know the whole wheel liner thing has been debated so many times on here but this isn't a topic about which liners. This is just for people who have installed ford oem ones. I just received my pair that I ordered off a Ford dealer on ebay and my question is did ford change some things with the 2015- present liners? I've watched a couple videos from people on this forum and other places installing them and the ones that I received mount different. First they now mount like the husky's do by mounting to the inside of the wheel well of the box not under the bed rail like the videos I've seen. Also they now use 3 push pins unlike the 2 from the videos I've watched. Has anyone else experienced this or noticed this as well? The liners do look the same just mount totally different.

I just got a set from a Ford dealer on eBay too and they ate just like the videos. Two push pins per side and four screws per side, two of which mount under the bed rail.

I'll take pictures tonight of the hardware and liners. Like I said mine has 3 push pins per side and 3 screws and they mount on the wheel well not on the box crossmember. They looked to be legit oem ford. They have ford stamping on them an instructions all say ford. Just weird why they are different. Not sure if ford just changed the design. The package that had hardware and the instructions also had a sticker reading Feb 2018.

I’d sure rather have more push pins. The screws are a real pain to line up. Looks like you got a newer upgraded set.

I wonder if you got a set from a Super Duty by mistake? Maybe they’re different?

I don't think so because the part # is FL3Z-9927886-D which is for the f150 2015-18.
