That did not work for me. Replaced it with a brand new one but didn’t fix anything.

 

I also had this same issue. Heat on the back would only heat up to the small of the back and not get super hot. Changed the seat back heater grid with same concern. Just replaced the drivers seat module underneath and it works great now. Heat gets up to the top of the back now like the passenger side.

 

I have a brand new drivers seat module if anybody needs it! My issue was just the bottom heat element. Cooks me out now!

I have been searching under the drivers seat for this control module and can not locate it. I have an XLT with just heated seat. Part number is:

FU5Z-14C724-A

 

What year? It is located under the passenger seat in earlier years.

 

it’s a 2018 XLT heat only. It’s only the drivers seat that is not working.

 

Mine is right under the driver’s side in the front.
