Just picked up my 2018 Limited. Messed around with it all day and have determined there is no Ambient Lighting feature. My buddy has a 2017 Limited and it's easy to find the button on the sync screen.

Not a game changer, just think it's petty if it got dropped.

It does suck, it's a cool way of customizing your ride without having to buy add on's. Not to mention the default color and intensity is barely enough to notice. I plan on asking my dealer on Monday what the deal is and hoping it's just missed on the early release units. I'm pretty sure it's just a software thing on Sync. Lights are there just not customizable like they have been on every ford f150 I've had since 2011.

I have been waiting to order my limited until I could see a version in person and determine if I like the interior. What are your thoughts of the Navy pier interior? Can you post some pictures of it? Also how do you like the new B&O play?

Ford was real quiet on the interior, I couldn't find any pic's and rolled the dice. Lets just say I'm neutral with it, don't love it and don't hate it. I like my buddies 2017 two tone brown better. The wood and aluminum look awesome, there is a very light pattern on the Aluminum that looks cool. As far as posting a pictures, I don't think I have permission yet, I need to post more. I'll see if I can get it to work. One tip, hold off on getting the limited for another month or so. Ford has some little software issues to work out, I'm truck #240 and the Sync is missing the ambient light feature and for whatever reason the cooled seats don't reset themselves after shutting the truck down and restarting it later. if you shut the truck off with the cooled seats on they will automatically start when you get back in the truck weather you want them to or not and you have to manually shut them off. Not a big deal but you do have to hit the button three times to turn them off. My 15 Platinum would reset the button after each start up and shutdown.
