Considering the trans is also going into the ZL1 Camaro it's a safe bet it can handle whatever the Coyote throws at it.
I plan to Whipple the 5.0/6 speed I'm buying tomorrow...would be fun to see what the new motor and trans do with boost.

I love the 5.0 in my 2015 and will continue to buy the 5.0 but if they execute the new diesel I might have to go that route.

Would be interesting to know if the 5.0 revisions will include direct injection or higher compression like the mustang... that would be good for more HP/TQ.

These coyote engines are a lot of fun. My favorite thing about the truck!

I'll probably drive a coyote until they get rid of it. Kinda bothers me a revised version is coming out although that's just the nature of the beast. One of the main reasons I avoid ecoboost is DI. I've had it in 2 cars and had to deal with gummed valves. I hate having to walnut blast every 40k.

I wonder if the internals will be changed on the new 5.0. I'd love a 10spd all day. The MPG increase will be nice!

It doesn't mean the internals for the 10 speeds are the same. The one in F150 will most likely not be as built as the one in the ZL1 or the version that goes into the next GT 500, if it does.
