2018 F-150 STX Center console swap.
As stated, I have a 2018 F-150 STX. Currently, I have the center console (if thats what it's called) between the two seats with the cup holders, and deep storage area under the arm rest. I would like to trade this out for a center seat, the 40-20-40 setup if I've read up on it right. Is this even possible? What kind of costs am I looking at? Thanks!

Not sure if our interiors would even match enough to make this possible. Or.. what it would take to possibly move the seat belt from one to the other not sure how to add one if it's not an RCSB..but.. anyway.. PM sent to OP.

Yes you can change it from floor console to a non-floor console since your car is a column shifter from photo. It a small jump seat - console combo. It uses same hold down brkts. Unfortunately not same seat cover material as your existing STX seat cover material. Also look for one from a super cab, it will have rear cup holders for rear seat passengers. Finally you need to replace dash pieces, four pieces total. its doable but most people like myself are going opposite way.

There is of course another option. My supercab came with a center console. I removed the whole thing and made some steel to go between the seats. Now my kids can jump out the front passenger door when needed. Another benefit is when you have 5 adults in the truck, the middle passenger has tons of legroom. I know my truck is a 5 passenger so I intend to keep it without any center except floor space, I also want to fabricate a custom gear shifter with Cup holders and cable plug in/switches etc. it sounds like you have a regular cab but if you’re like me, you need the space to stretch on long trips. I found the center stack to be too bulky and cut in on my legroom to even be able to drive comfortably. Ford dropped the ball on this design.
