Default 2018 F-150 Drive Mode changes

Hoping someone might know if it's possible and ok to change the standard drive mode in a 2018 F-150 Lariat from 'standard' mode at start-up to 'eco' mode. I use eco mode a lot and would be nice to not have to manually shift to this mode at start up each time I drive my truck?

If possible and not detrimental to the truck, also looking for instruction on how this might be done.

Thanks/regards......

Checked out that video now - very helpful. Any idea where you can purchase the drive mode memory module itself?

thanks/cheers....

Hey Shelby Driver, I read this thread and thought why not add this.
I followed the link and ordered it. Three days later it came today.

Being a typical guy who can't wait and has to do it the minute I got home. So I didn't make a video, but man was it easy and it positively works.

It's not like I want to be in Sport Mode every day. It's more of being able to choose a mode and it staying in that mode for those 3 minutes I'm in the store or whenever it's shutoff for a couple minutes.

It's worth the money to me all day long. It's well made and has what you need to mount it properly.

I say go for it.

Thank You, 'artsr2002' for making me aware of this product..!

I used to set mine to eco, then discovered that I get better mileage in normal, and it drives better.

And I probably will leave it in normal, but there are those days when I'd like to stay in one mode.

Worth every dollar to me, to be able to set it and forget it.
Now I'm truly free. No hitting the start/stop and or drive mode. Push one button (Start) and go.
