In regards to cup holder, anyone notice the 2017 F250 is using the LED at the bottom like the f150?

Wonder is the f250 was custom ambient lighting, if so I'd bet dollars to donuts same part number, also the 2018 cupholder matches the 2017 f250 so we might have a solution

Nonetheless, it's still disappointing and frustrating to see a move like this which appears to only be attributed as a cost play IMO. The customer experience is more then just how the vehicle performs, these extra features go a long way to making that overall experience more pleasurable (again IMO).

OK, Ill get off my soap box. Please continue to keep us posted once the rest of the parts come in.

Back in '03 I bought (ordered) a new Expedition. One of the standard features was the homelink garage door opener buttons in the visor. Truck arrived w/o visor buttons; dealer & Ford both gave me the runaround, neither cared. Like the ambient lights they dropped the homelink for cost savings. After some calls & a letter to Ford Corporate I gave up trying to get the part or a small refund, promising myself to never again buy another ford. At least it took me 13 years to give in! I suck & so do they!

Wow, late to the party here...great job.

OEM Ambient Lighting Installation - Google Docs

Middle of that page has all the parts i used, correct door part numbers. Yes, cupholder listed is a different part number now than it was on 15-16s. Don't know what the new one should be.

The cup holder LED looks the same as the one in a F250 Super Duty, I've been hunting that part number down.

Hey Guys, just joined to follow this thread. I have an '18 Raptor on order and am going to try and do this setup as well. Been researching and I believe the part number for cup holder from the '17 is FA1Z-14A318-K. Using the callout from fordparts.com the callout was 14A318K. That led me to tasca with the included part number (https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...p-fa1z14a318k/) however Tasca lists it not fitting a 2017 and only the MKV so not sure if thats just a bad listing or if this is the wrong part number. For those in the middle of trying this, thought that might help. Following this thread to see if any other '18 guys have luck with the full kit. Cheers!

Oh and here is the callout specs from a 2017 Raptor (which had color changing) in case anyone wants to double check what I found. http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/Re...&n=FL3Z13776AC

Nope, like all Fords, ambient lights went from selectable to ice blue. 17's still had selectable colors. They also moved from Sony to B&O.

Yes but the Raptor is still based off the 17 model year. Is it not?

So it should not have the stop and go cruise, and should still have the ambient light option, I think.
