Default 2018 DIY front towing hooks

I haven’t seen this posted, so I figured I would post this in case someone is considering doing this. I just bought a 2018 f150 STX without front towing hooks. I got the towing hooks off eBay and modified the front stock lower valance. Looks factory after installation!

So it looks pretty much like factory I guess. Did you use a razor or dremel to cut out the material?

I used a HD cutoff wheel and sand paper. The plastic cover is pretty thick for a dremel tool.

Did you have to remove the valance to cut it?
