This is a bummer to hear. My understanding was that it wasn't happening to Lariat and above with any real frequency.

I think that was the initial thought, and we all are starting to realize the plastic is too thin or the wrong material for the application.

I specifically looked on the lot last week and all trims had warping. Well over half the trucks had warped dashes, some worse than others.

Some 2019 trucks also have warping from the factory. Took this pic while browsing the lot today getting the block heater recall inspection done (mine is bad, needed to order the part).

Just dropped my truck off at the dealer fir the recall. They looked at my dasg and are going to send the pictures up to ford to have it replaced. According to the manager Ford is now replacing them with an improved dash. We will see hpw it goes i guess.

Look forward to hearing back on your replacement dash, I showed my dealer the new dash TSB and they ordered the necessary parts to do the job. I'm nervous about doing this on my 2018 but was assured the job will be done correct, almost rather replace engine!

Why?
Mine was replaced months ago,no rattles or issues with replacement.

This is not an issue. Not sure why everyone makes a fuss about this "warping" issue on this forum and FB

Apparently Ford thought the warped dash was enough of an issue to create a modified dash to avoid warping. Estimated cost with parts and labor about $2500 per vehicle. We will see what happens with the revised dash!
