2018 Crew Cab water leak from cabin vents
Hi all, just brought home my 2018 F150 XLT Super crew home last week. I noticed that my rear carpet was wet when I took the floor mats out to clean. I managed to get the rear seat back folded down and noticed that the leak was coming from both of the vents on the rear of the cab. Bringing back to the dealer tomorrow but has anyone had or heard of this and if so what is the fix.

Sorry to hear. May I ask if you have the sliding rear window? One poster said his dealer found out his rear sliding window leaked onto the vents, then into the truck, making them believe it was the vents, when it was the sliding window. If you don't have a sliding window, then we'd know for sure it can be the vents. Wonder what exactly it is. Do they have a rubber seal around the vent that might not be properly installed? Or the seal just presses against the cab wall? Please post more details if you can when fixed. Good luck.

Leak
I do have the slider but I covered it while I was spraying the water. There doesn’t look like there’s a rubber seal on it. If I unclip the one side of it the leak stops. They do not fit very well. I would take it out and seal it but the bed is so close to the cab they won’t come out.

Ford's poor build quality rears it's ugly head again. Ford makes a good truck with quality parts but most problems folks have here is usually right out the box and can be attributed to poor build quality. If you don't have problems within the first few months after purchase you'll probably be good for the long haul. They are trying to push them out too fast. Save for one warranty repair and mandatory recall work my truck has been problem free.

I have a '15 super crew, It leaked, but I never found water inside. I just knew something was wrong because every time it rained (and it does a lot in Florida) it would wreak of mold inside.
Dealer "fixed" it 3 times before they actually found the issue, been about 2 years no recurrence.

And how exactly did you do that? From the inside? And did you see what kind of gasket or seal the vent has? Curious how it could be badly installed. Or if it just wasn't 'clicked' into place. Curious. Thx.
