Hi All,

First off, Thanks to all on this thread some amazing information here .. I have a 07/17 502a truck and purchased all the Acc parts for a 15 -17, i didn't realize that mine was an 18 spec so none of the parts that i purchased fit ... Anyway, so i am a bit concerned about making another expensive mistake ..
I have the parts list that P51SVO put together, there is just a couple of things that i am unclear about..
1, the ABS ECU? i have hill decent in the truck, does this change anything ? i haven't seen in mentioned
2,does the windscreen have to be changed if you have the auto high beam camera there already ?

wondering if Livnitup had any luck with forscan for the Abs recoding ?

Replace. Gotta use the one specified in SVO's write-up. You'll need two new harnesses too that don't exist. Sounds like I have a similar truck like yours.

Default Adding to 501a

Now’s my chance to add ACC. Has anyone done this on a 2018 Lariat 501a, non-tech, without LKA? I’m replacing my windshield and want to add ACC. I currently have the auto-dimming mirror. Looks like, in addition to the 502a upgrades I’ll need a new windshield, mirror, mirror bracket, And IPMA cover. The Auto Parking Assistant thread mentions replacing the wire harness in the roof of the cab in order to connect the IPMA. I’m concerned I may need to replace the entire wire harness for the cab and more. It looks expensive. Any thoughts?

I'm confused about this. I want to add acc to my 18 lariat and understand that I can also add lka at same time. However I don t see any talk of how u turn that on/off. Isn't the switch by the shifter? I don't see it referenced anywhere?

There is another thread for LKA and another for APA that you might find helpful. Lane Keeping is easy to add with FORScan as long as you have the right IPMA, no button is needed unless you desire the convenience of turning it on and off easily.

so I went to local dealer today where I can get a pretty good discount.

The sensor they gave me part number DY*1395* $799.68
Fl3z*15k867*b $63.78
Jl3z*2c215*f $977.05

Grand total for those 3 parts with tx $1923.53 CND
Not looking good for me doing this 😲

Forscan just publicly released v2.4.2 which has module firmware update capability. Can someone with an '18 that has ACC run this new version and post a screen shot of your ABS firmware details? There are multiple sections of the module that get flashed. I would like to compare my '18 non acc ABS module to see if I could flash the different areas to match one with acc. Looking at my ABS module, there is a main calibration, secondary boot loader, strategy and ECU configuration/base configuration. Maybe we can figure out a way to do this acc mod without replacing the abs module. PM me if you need more details on how to get into the module flash section of forscan.
