Are there IDS instructions for the ABS program? You can get a 2 day license which seems like an easier plan than finding a dealer that will touch it for you. Just not sure what actually needs to be done once installed and license activated.

You would also need a VCM or similar adapter. If you have access to one the process is pretty straightforward and IDS darn near walks you through it.

Ruby 2018, were you able to get it working without replacing the stock abs module and just reflashing with a different firmware?

No. I tired but I ended up flashing incompatible firmware and spent 3 days trying to get the right firmware back. Couldn’t get it to work so I ended up buying the ACC abs module and guess what, my ford Dealer flashed the incompatible firmware on the new module! fast forward another 2 days and I eventually figured it out by downloading IDS myself and unplugging the abs module which forced IDS to download the correct firmware from ford and voilà, everything works. It was a stressful few weeks lol

Do you think the eventual solution you figured out would have worked on the original ABS module?

I don’t think so. I believe the original ABS module doesn’t have the ACC option enabled in the base firmware no matter what software you flash on it with ids or forscan.

Can anyone PM me the VIN of a 2018 F150 that has the tech package and ACC? I've been having issues getting my camera to program and my dealership believes they can do it with a vin, but I haven't been able to locate one...
