2018: Adding Adaptive Cruise Control
Going to tackle the non-stop and go pre-2018 Adaptive Cruise Control to my 302a 2018 XLT; Most of the related parts have 2018 now listed along with he 17’s and 16’s. I’m hoping that’s a good sign. I modified that parts list in an attempt to get all the correct parts for a 2018. I will post an update as soon as I get the parts Friday or Saturday.
Thanks to Livnitup I have the 8" cluster installed. Would appreciate any updates or new info anyone may have...Thanks

Not true. 2018's CCM talks to the IPMA and both are required, I assure you. You would need ALL of the items in SVO's list to complete the addition.
Thanks for the info; all the parts are on back order until next month. So I have some time to contemplate my options. I’m going to add it even if a new windshield is required. The question now is will the pre-2018 system will even work on a 2018? Or is my only choice, new system with stop and go. My main hold up on going with the new system is the abs control is stupid expensive, and the control module can not be found separately (without the actuator attached).
The post you originally quoted noted that they were doing the NON Stop-and-Go system (2015-2017 F150/2018 Raptor), which would not require the IPMA and thus windshield replacement. It should be possible to install the 2018 Raptor ACC system (non stop-and-go) in a 2018 truck to avoid replacing the IPMA and ABS modules.

I've measured based on my buddy's 2018 Raptor with ACC, and it looks like the CCM and bracket would fit, but I'm not sure about the harness since we have fog lights and the raptor doesn't.

Only Stop-and-Go with Pre-Collision requires the IPMA. In fact, in the other ACC thread someone with a 2019 noted that they were looking up 2018 VINs with Pre-Collision and noticed that some are using the same IPMA number as the LKA trucks, so the IPMA may not need to be replaced on trucks with the Tech Package. I don't believe this has been confirmed yet, though.

According to the parts I have been researching they have added “2018” to the 2017-2015 part numbers and also specify a harness with or without pre-collision or stop and go. So two different Distance Modules are available for a 2018 on with IPMA and the other who knows??? It’s kind of untrodden territory; I respect everyone’s expertise, and if IPMA is the only confirmed direction, than I will head that direction. Otherwise, I’m going to play around for awhile. I will attach the parts list I ordered soon.
