I didn't buy (well, lease) a brand new, expensive truck to have it sound like this! I work in consulting and data always helps prove your point. So, I quantified what I could from this thread.

The tsb intially "fixed" the rattle. But today. exaclty a week later. Its back.

How about your hesitation between 1000-1500 RPM? Is that still fixed? I also have a hesitation/stutter/shudder between 1000-1500 RPM under light throttle and you're the first one I've heard of having that improve from this TSB.

My rattle is still there when cold, but at normal operating temperature, it’s not audible. It’s been that way since I got the TSB.

i noticed while in reverse I could hear the rattle

I go Monday morning to talk with my service manager. They had my truck for two weeks only to tell me that the rattle, along with all my other concerns are “normal.”

Not expecting Monday to go well, plan on calling Ford again. Even though they’ve done nothing thus far aside from tell me to “work with the dealership.” Any update from your call Brake? I took mine in for visit two once it started doing it ALL the time, acceleration and decel, and not only when cold.

I’m not expecting this to be easy. But the noise is not acceptable to me, I’ll bring the truck in every week if I have to. I’ll update Monday with the results of my visit.
