I am curious if it is not just the sound of the transmmision.. maybe fluid level? I agree with you. And the transmission is right in between...but what in the transmission could make such a sound?

*** You can hear the noise at 5 and 8 sec. ***

I have the rattle noise from engine as many guys have. It is coming from the front side(engine).
However now I hear another scratching noise. It is coming from rear side, behind me.( I am not sure it comes from transmission.)

And I hear the noise all the time when I press the gas pedal. I was driving at around 50 kmh(30 mph) and 1500 rpms.
But I can hear the noise around 60 mph(100kmh) as well.

I wonder what Ford is going to do when all these engines and transmissions start failing. Are we the owners left hoping that the motors and transmissions fail before the powertrain warranty expires? Is that are only recourse? It is crazy how much money we spent on these rattle traps!

Yup that's the same scratching noise I have. I attached a go pro under the truck right next to the transmission and drove around. You can clearly hear that somthing is happening.... same sound though....

Well my '18 5.0 (July 18 build date) did not have the decel rattle at all... until Sunday with 13,500 miles. It went away as soon as the engine warmed up, but it was the first time I've heard it.

I would highly suggest you call Ford cooperate and make a stink. If it did it once, it will no doubt happen again (and again, and again....) After all my complaining to Ford, I got a regional customer service manager to give me a free 5 year, 75,000 extended warranty. We all paid big money for these trucks, the least Ford could do is properly cover them. Good luck, and sorry you joined our sh1tty club.
