New marks on your dipstick? I assume that Ford updated their dipstick marks accordingly for the new pan and capacity. I don't see why a dealership would be doing that.

If i ever buy a new vehicle again I'll definitely be checking the oil before driving off the lot. I put on a couple 1000km checked my oil and it's level was near the bottom scratch on your dipstick...not sure if it wasn't full to begin with or it was burned due to breakin (my last truck didn't burn oil at breakin - 2011 EB). Adding 2 litres brought it to the actual max line. That was around 2000km .....I'm at 9600km now..had one oil change at 8000 and the level at the dipstick hasn't changed from the actual max line. Now I'm checking my oil once every couple weeks.

Just started getting the Bad Weather two weeks ago with the -25 stuff
Now 20" of snow in the last ten days, so most of the time in four wheel.

Twice now, sub 30 MPH when letting off and rolling to slow, a pronounced Clicking noise. (experiencing this morning in the six inches of new snow in traffic was awesome... cough)
Light tap on the brakes to see if it is an iced up rotor, Clicking Stops, Battery Light On, Truck not Running. (removing brake pressure and there is no restart, so I don't believe it is the Auto Off)
Push into Neutral and restart. Pops right off and continues to run the rest of the way to work.

Ideas??

After three weeks at the dealership (the cold and snow has everything backed way up here) I got my F150 back this morning.

VVT Solenoid replace.

So I drove it and didn’t think anything of it . After about 2500km I noticed that it had gone through about 1.5 litres of oil , took it to my local dealer to have it topped up and was told that it was again normal for it to go through about a litre in the breakin period . So proceed to continue driving it and didn’t check oil again till around 5000k , didn’t even show on dip stick . So took it back to ford once again and they again told me it was normal operation and within allowable oil consumption. So far I’m not very impressed with my 52000$ purchase. Have had multiple recalls and updates to tans and engine . I have my own scan tool , (autel maxisys) and have scanned truck many times and have not gotten any codes . But in live data I can see that my intake and exhaust valves are always 5* advanced , doesn’t seem normal to me . Told dealer and showed screen shots and was told that they cycled the cam phasers 10x and it should be good . Can’t sell truck the way it is right now and they won’t do anything for me until it throws a code .
dealers are so full of it. Mine hasn't consumed a drop of oil.

My truck clunks from the rear when accelerating slow.. I can make it do it really loud if I get off the gas then back on the gas when going up hill. Anyone else have this issue? Driving me nuts!!! Dealer told me it was normal but coworkers truck I rode in sure didn't do it!

I have 2018 F150 lariat / V8 5.0 / FX4 / Built in March 2018.
I have heard the squeeze sound start between 1,500-2,000 rpm even any speed, when I start engine my f-150 and move D mode with push accelerator pedal.
Also now the noise sound is louder.

I visited two Ford dealers included one dealer that I purchased my f150. But the dealers told me the sound is normal. I gave too bad service points through the survey. and I visited one dealer again.
after left my truck, I waited 2 weeks to fix the issues. But now I'm hearing the noise sound. too bad.....

If you have any solution or good news, please share to all.

Default Engin knock on hot startups. ....start/stop

Here is another knocking issue they are going to try and fix with cam phasers and timing chain .....we'll see what happens on April 15th when they install the parts. This is the 4th time in to try and fix the truck. At least they are changing parts this time.

2018 F150 5L XLT Crewcab 10 Speed 4x4
Problem since 7000k...... now at 13200k

Aprox 8000k

12200k

I believe it's an oiling problem.
