I've seen a bunch of them that have lasted 2 years.

I think if you got one that wasn’t eating oil at the beginning, it will last you a very long time.

Unfortunately, mine was drinking oil off the assembly line. The reflash TSB cut consumption in half, from 1qt:1000mi to 1qt:2000mi - still above Ford’s acceptable 1qt:3000mi.

I don’t know how much it’s drinking now, since we’ve been confined to work from home.

2018 SCREW XLT Texas Edition with the 5.0. Has about 52K so far and it’s been a great truck. Transmission can be a little indecisive at times but 93 octane fuel really helps with that for some reason. Maybe the extra hp helps the transmission decide a little better what to do. Overall great truck and very happy with it.

I just turned over 20k miles on my ‘18 5.0. I have to add a quart of oil around the 5k mile mark between oil changes (I let the oil life monitor get down below 10% oil life before changing, which has resulted in a near 10,000 mile oil/filter change frequency.)

Installing an aftermarket exhaust has drowned out a lot of those “character” noises like the decel rattle and occasional ticks and knocks at idle.

Corsa Xtreme. It’s not completely quiet at cruise speed but quiet enough to where you don’t hear it when the radio volume is past 7 or the HVAC is blowing. It’s not a drone but more like a faint wop-wop-wop-wop.

Lol. Enjoy. I’ve got about 4,000 miles on mine now and it sounds better than it did when new. It has gotten really rich sounding, gurgly, growly and mellowed out some. Not so much of the high pitched cackle and tinny sound anymore. Cold starts still have a bark but not quite as loud and cringeworthy as before.

It actually sounds pretty mild most of the time, unless you unleash the demon.

That's exactly what I did LOL. Borla Touring. Not much louder than stock but just enough to sound really nice especially when foot down and letting her eat...

I've had the Sport version on for about 1000 miles or so. I've noticed the tone change a little and it's really nice but I wanted a little more bark with warm starts. I wouldn't buy any other system over this one. It's simple, well made, and makes a great sound.
