Default 2018-2019 f150 auto start stop Mess FIX!!

I just bought a New King Ranch with this BS at red light mess! So I looked all over forum I must be blind because I couldn’t find a simple fix but the jumper wire behind switch that I didn’t care to do. But then discovered to just unplug this wire from above pedal. Everything else still works that I can tell. I'm sure most of you know this but I couldn't find the answer on here so posting it again if it is on here SOMEWHERE easier for the next guy to find

I unplugged mine a couple weeks back and it certainly put an end to the *** but it just seemed too simple of a fix and I was concerned that it would negatively affect something important and unseen so I plugged it back in again.

The *** doesn't really bother me too much as I live in the country and don't encounter many stop lights but thought I'd give it a try but now I just continue to push the disable button.

Don't understand the fuss over having to push a button one time after you start the truck?

The fuss is intentional to irritate people that can't stop themselves from sticking their nose in other folks dislikes.

It's not necessarily the physical action of pushing the button...it's knowing that every time you get in the truck you will have to push the dumb button...forever. It was engineered backwards. It should be an option that you have to push a button TO activate, no deactivate. That is stupid. I've only had my new 2018 a couple of weeks now, but already I've found myself several times at a stoplight starting to sweat and realizing that the engine shut off a little while ago and the A/C basically shut off as well. It would be nice if Ford offered something to reverse the switch. I'd pay extra to have that dumb *** system permanently deactivated. I really don't see me EVER using it.

Just put a jumper wire behind the switch.
