Celtic Knot

I have a brand new 18-Platinum. I put my first tank of gas in it a few days ago. It has 600 miles on it.


I noticed a few days later that the light that shows what gear you are 1- 10 next to the tach on the screen was no longer illuminated.I looked through the owners manual and could not find anything on shutting this off or turning it on.


I was fiddling around with all the settings and screens (alot to play with) and I am thinking I pushed the wrong button and made it go away, I hope.


Has any one encountered this? Can anyone tell me if there is an easy fix before I head to the dealer? I hope I just am ignorant and pushed some button wrong.


Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Unless it is different from the previous, you simply hit the "+" button on the selector.

^ This. And I have had success with it staying on the screen by selecting the "-" button once...

This really needs to be a sticky. Just come sup too often.

Just to confirm, yes, hit the + on the gear shift to turn it on. Same as the previous years.

Thanks, I am An idiot - But that was easy. I must say I came out of a 13 Platinum, This 18 Plat has WAY more electronic "Stuff" on it. Way more to learn. The adaptive cruise control I could not get to set the first time I tried it. Dont know what I am doing wrong. Thought I had a problem. Went into the screen and changed it to regular cruise and it work fine. I need to get into this next.

I wil say this 2018 with the 3.5 Eb rides so much nicer than my 13 even with the FX off road package. This motor is extremely impressive so far. I had a 5.0 L in my 13. The interior is far and away superior to the 13. this 2018 overall is far superior to my old 2013.

Just alot more "stuff" to learn.
