I have a 2018 and she is tight and sealed up as good as can be I think.

I park in the garage but do wash my truck often. Only real way to be sure is to look on the inside under the molding after hitting back glass with water hose. Don't really plan on checking any further though, based on how well the rubber is sealed around the glass.

ReAquired Vehicles has already reached out to me and so the 30 day process has started, they have 30 days to complete it but I hope it will be a lot less

Damn... sorry to hear about all of these leaking problems. I started a thread shortly after I got my truck about the warped seal on the window. I checked multiple trucks and they all had the same warped corners. Dealer dismissed it as “normal”. I haven’t experienced any leaks though.

Friends of mine offers me a GM employee pin so were leaning heavily that way as they give you a 2-3,000 discount plus all rebates, so for example I am looking at a GMC Sierra 1500 with a sticker of $50000 for $35,000

Sounds like a good buy for sure! I have seen advertisements for 11k off their 2017 high end models so I can see that being right.

Check their glass too. LOL

well your timing is right for that. I sort of hate to see you go to GM but I understand your problems. Sorry it's working out that way. IRONY I used to be a GM guy - my DD is the last GM car I think I will buy.

But I can't say they make a bad truck, or even in some cases bad cars. I still lust after a vette for toying around and a CTS-V sedan or wagon (bring back the wagon please)

but alas I'd buy a lincoln first.

Good Luck and don't be surprised if you see a familiar name on some GM forums. That DOD system isn't bad.

I've had GM, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, VW.... and the only lemon I had to send back to the manufacturer was a Honda Civic Si. Lemons can happen w/ any vehicle or brand. Glad that they are taking care of it for you. The Honda situation left a bad taste in my mouth, but since I loved the car, I went with a replacement car and I didn't regret it one bit. The replacement was perfect.
