Yeah, keeping the column shift. I'm liking that area as a storage compartment.

I got a complete console off eBay for $750 shipped, couldn't find one in a local salvage yard. Prices range from $300-$1800. However, the lower priced one's were not complete. You can find the part numbers for the dash parts I used at the link below under the pics of the 1st post in that thread. Be advised that these were not my stock interior color code parts. (1) Stock textured black handle.
(2) Handle cover pops right off.
(3) Oem chrome handle cover installed.
