Default 2017 tailgate dent from shopping cart!

Is it at all possible to repair from what appears a 3-4 inch dent/crease in tailgate??

I would just stop by a dent doctor (paintless dent repair) and ask them if they can fix it. If so, leave the tailgate with them and just go pick it up when it's ready.
At least it's a part you can leave with them and still drive the truck....that's a plus.

Some dents that are larger can be popped out. We need a pic to better help you.

Aluminum is a lot harder to repair with paintless dent removal from what I hear. With that said, wife had some idiot let a cart go in a parking lot last year that went straight into the door of our Focus. Dent guy fixed to where I didn't notice, but he wasn't happy with the fix. He ended up reducing the price and I ended up selling the car. Problem solved!

I'll be surprised if PDR can remove that dent with a crease like that in it. It will probably take a body shop to repair it 100%

The first time your trailer rolls and the tongue licks the tailgate you won't notice that little dent anymore.

Sorry for your misfortune though. The first dent is always the hardest.

This made me laugh and then cry inside knowing exactly what you're talking about.

@OP, you might be able to but hard being that it's near a bend / crease.
