Thanks a bunch. I'm brand new to this forum and happy to be here. Just bought a 2017 XL with STX package and I want to add remote start and backup camera. I've got the 8" sync 3 without camera so I'm hoping that adding one will be seem less.

Just got myself one last week. Sad to see my 15 mustang go but we've added another kid since I bought it and needed the space. Perfect truck for my needs and budget.

Also, I searched but couldn't find an answer. I have the 8" screen. Is there an easy way to add XM? Like a software update or something?

I'm holding out for an 18 STX so I can get the 10 speed trans. For what it's worth, they're GIVING away the 17 stx's here in the Charlotte area. You can find super crew STX's for under $30k. It's quite tempting.

order an stx with the 3.5 eb, get the 10 speed.

And please post a link to an stx priced that low.

I just bought the XL w/ STX package.



Fresh from the dealer. Will take more pictures when weathers good.

The STX package on the XL adds in 20" rims, different fabric seats, and touch screen w/ sync. With the XL, carpet and backup camera are optional, but I got the truck that had everything included. I also had the dealer install a remote starter which was $499.

I bought the XL w/ STX package because it came with all the stuff that I needed without having to spend so much more for an XLT. It's a GREAT deal package on the XL if you just want the basics.

Next week I'm definitly going to add remote start and tailgate assist. I'm having issues with adding the XM radio. I have the 8" screen and it has the xm antenna on the roof. What else do I need to get the xm to work like factory? I've been googling all day and night.

Can some one point me in the right direction? Has anyone done this on a '17?

oh, 2wd. Those don't count! 4x4 screw was in the 37k range at the bigger places in Charlotte.
