That is such an insane price for an XLT with those kinds of things on it that I wouldn't even be entertaining the idea personally. $45k could get you an XLT 302A with a real lift and whatever exhaust, grille, wheels/tires you wanted.

EDIT: Just to add to the perspective others have given you - I paid right around $51k for a 601A King Ranch in early 2016 when the incentives were pretty low. I say buy an XLT or Lariat and build it how you want - you'll come out ahead.
45K for an XLT 302A with a lift, exhaust, grill and wheels and tires? Maybe a used XLT but you're not getting all that with a new 302A XLT Sport. I guess maybe if you can find a hold over 2016 but at this point they're mostly all gone.

Just trying to ascertain if the $55k is a good investment. I have a high end package now (platinum loaded out) but this Roush makes my truck look like a truck it would date lol. Definitely a bad *** look vs just a pretty truck. I know I would loose the leather seats. Don't think that's a deal breaker. I think all Roush come like that - the dealers just add the leather seat covers. Guess I could always ask them to throw that in? I loose cooled seats - but I never used those anyway. Comes with heated seats - which is the only part I ever used. I think in reading the only other thing you loose since it's an XLT pkg is you do from hid lights to bulbs. Not sure what that will look like at night, will have to test it.

Just trying to determine if the $55,500 is a great deal, or if I should beat them up on price some. If so, what should I shoot for? Lower price. Get them to upgrade the seats to leather? Maybe buy the supercharger at cost and install for free? Etc. just wanting feedback for what y'all think.
You need to view this differently. They aren't giving you $10,500 off a $66,000 truck. They're marking a $45,000 truck up to $55,000. Of course they're willing to loan you the truck. They want your eyes to glaze over and set you up to buy on impulse instead of paying attention to the numbers. They'll tell you that the truck is special, rare, blah blah blah. Don't fall for that. Buy a generously equipped Lariat, get whatever grill/tire/wheel/lift combo you want, and you'll have a much nicer truck for less money. The non supercharged Roush trucks are a sucker deal no matter what the claimed discount is. You can build a higher optioned non-Roush truck, get the supercharger installed, and still spend less money than the Roush N/A price.

One question: How much would it cost you to equip your existing truck and make it look similar to the Roush? A whole lot less than trading. I much prefer to build my vehicles myself.

That said, if you want the truck and it's not taking food off the table or keeping you from providing essentials for the family, go ahead and buy it.

OP, you have hit on a pet peeve of mine - a new truck is not an investment. You cannot call a depreciating asset an investment; it's simply a purchase.

That's exactly what I did.
Purchased a Lariat then upgraded with a Roush supercharger kit w/ a custom tune (675 hp), Roush Fox 2.0 suspension kit, Roush F-150 fender flare kit, Roush Mickey Thompson wheel & tire pkg, and a catback exhaust of my choice (Corsa Sport catback)
Not a big fan of the Roush graphics, but I did do the Roushcharged graphic for the hood.
It's my version of a SC'd Roush F-150.

I wouldnt do it. I just bought a 2017 xlt sport screw for 40900 OTD. They gave me close to 27k for my trade which is what I owed. You could easily get more for your trade too. They are low balling you.

You could do all this to a XLT and then have more money left over to upgrade performance.

it your money but its not a good deal.

Blue Jeans in the sport package? My god that is beautiful! I am in the process of doing the same thing. Just got done putting the wheel/tire package a hour ago. love the wheels(hate how they put wheel weights right on the outside) So to the OP I got the set for $2500 shipped. Fox set up is another over $1k? Exhaust and intake another $800ish, the flares are what another $800? So for $5k-$6k you can take a stock F150 to non SC status.(No Roush grill). That said Roush puts out good stuff. If you could get it for 47-50k and love it, I would take it. The Roush exhaust is a little loud for my taste.

I agree with scrappy, this truck has no supercharger, leather, led lights and more
If your looking to spend that kind of money u could get a higher package or spend a little more and get a raptor.
But if your set on a roush pull the trigger
My dealer gave me keys to brand new XLT with 10 miles over Thanksgiving and said drive it see if you like it 3 days later and over 300 miles on it took it back. Loved the truck but not equipped like I wanted did not have 302A so I get keys to XLT with 302A twin panel, nav etc etc drove it for 2 days and then went back in a bought it!

The platinum is not a 4WD - which is the main reason I am wanting to trade it in and why the value is at 27,500. I agree with everyone's advice - I'm definitely not a buyer at $55k. If it was priced in the upper 40s it would make sense and be a good looking ride for that. Overpriced for the name
