Default 2017 Raptor rims/tires + XLT FX4 no level & rear blocks removed = no rubbing

I have a 2015 F150 2.7L XLT FX4 Sport. My front suspension is completely stock and I removed the rear blocks to make the truck sit closer to level.

Recently a friend sold me the rims and tires off of his 2017 F150 Raptor for a really good price and I decided to throw the Raptor rims and tires on right now just to see how bad it would rub. I was pretty surprised to find that it doesn't rub. I know that there are several threads that say it will rub, but this 34.5" combo does not rub at all on my truck. I drove in and out of my steep driveway at full lock, I drove over curbs in my neighborhood at full lock, and it simply doesn't rub.

I did have to take my WeatherTech mudflaps off because the tire tread started grabbing at the corner of them and they don't flex very well, but not a single rub otherwise.

I still plan to reinstall my oem rear 4x4 blocks and upgrade my suspension to Bilstein 5100's all around to level the front 2", but I thought I would share that this setup actually works without a lift.

Looks good! I'm partial to them ...I have them. I'm thinking the 34 offset is a good place to be for our 150s

Can you post some straight on shots? Thinking about ditching the fuel Mavericks for a set of raptor take offs but would like to see if they stick out past the fender at all.

XLT, no flares, the tread is well under the wheel well..1/2" of the sidewall Sticks out... took a level and a ruler to see. Guessing the wheel flares would cover that

Thanks for posting this up. Just picked up a set of Raptor rims for my 2016 F-150 4x2 stock suspension and was trying to decide between going with 275/70/17 or 285/70/17. Based on this info, I think it will be safe for me to go with the 285/70 with no rubbing now.

Yeah, these are 315/70/17 and I'm basically riding like a 4x2 with the rear block removed right now so you should be good to go with either of those.

Mr Hahn, did you notice increased ride comfort with the stock suspension? Just curious. If so the raptor tires 315.70.17 are made for ford and are C rated. I love the ride comfort they give!
