2017 Headlamp Vertical Adjustment
I just bought my daughters a 2017 F-150 FX4 with a 6" lift. I noticed the headlamps (standard not LED/HID) project the light WAY too high/far down the road. I assume this is due to the lift/leveling of the truck. I checked the 2017 owner's manual and it states the lights were vertically adjusted at the factory and any issues due to accident that you should bring it to a service center. There is no mention of a vertical adjustment screw, nor can I find one. Anyone have an idea how I could adjust these headlamps to project vertically lower? Appreciate any feedback.

Look down at the top of the headlight. My past f150’s have had a vertical adjustment screw that is in a bit of a hole with a star looking head. Not sure if it’s the same with newer models.

So I'm sure someone will point out the error in my understanding of horizontal vs vertical, but this adjustment screw adjusts the height of the headlamp beam in relation to the horizon. Wouldn't that be a horizontal (up & down) adjustment - not vertical (left & right)? Not sure why Ford calls this a vertical adjustment.

Unfortunately no...
Directly from Merriam-Webster's dictionary
Vertical: perpendicular to the plane of the horizon or to a primary axis
Horizontal: parallel to, in the plane of, or operating in a plane parallel to the horizon
Obviously I am the only person in the universe that gets this confused

Back to the OP question, here's a picture of a 2017 F150 halogen headlamp. I have illustrated the location of the adjustment screw.
