2017 F150 Icon Stage 5 install

No pictures yet.....at my place I do not have super level ground other then where I work on the truck but it doesn't allow for a great side profile picture. I have not adjusted the fronts higher yet. And to be honest I do not know if I will raise the front end any more. I love the way the truck handles and the current lift in the front looks great in my eyes so I am hesitant about changing it just yet. But I do think I will be doing after market wheels and larger tires so maybe I will have to raise the front end. Time will tell and I will continue to update this thread. All in all I am very happy with the Icon products. Truck handles great and I love the look.

I'll post up my wheel well heights later. Truck really just looks stock and doesn't look like it has any lift at all. I would say the front stock nose dive is gone. Maybe when I get different wheels and rubber I'll lift the front up more. I do still have the Halo Lifts rear block (2.5").
I see people running 35x12.5 tires with these Icon kits. But my question to the masses is what kind of rubbing is involved when actually going off road? I know I would have to do trimming in the front to run them. But how much flex could I get out of the front end with that size tire?

I just installed an Icon Stage 5 setup a few weekends ago on my 18 FX4. My front fender is running around 39.25" as well and the rear is just slightly higher (almost perfectly level). Just curious, what are the largest size tires any of you have been able to install and where did you mount the reservoir? I am running 20" fuel wheels with +1 offset which should help with a larger tire but I am surprised by the 33x11.5 listed on icon's website.
I will say that the installation instructions are misleading in a couple areas. For example, there is an ebrake bracket that is required for 2015+ trucks per the instructions. It is not required for the 2018's due to the new electronic ebrake.

I went with Toyo MT 285/75R17. Icon Wheels. +6 offset. These tires are around 34.1"x11.5" I believe. My front reservoir is still in the same spot and I know someone in another thread has asked for a picture of my clearance up there...I will get that and add it to this thread. I forget what my height at the fenders are....I have it written down somewhere. But I also added Deaver rear leafs to my truck. As for this tire set up I have ran into no problems. No rubbing....no spreading of the crash bars.

I still love the Stage 5 kit I have. The truck is still handling great and no complaints at all on my end. I think I have like 12-13k miles on the kit so far and I have not had a single problem. Actually as I typed that out I will say that my rear shocks will rotate every now and again and the piggy back reservoir will scrape on my leaf springs. Really only has scraped the sticker off and I do not know if its due to my Deaver leafs or what. Either way its easy to just rotate the shock away from the leaf and I do not care if the sticker has been scraped a little....you can not see it unless you actually crawl under the truck.
