2017 F150 Icon Stage 5 install
So.....I have finally pulled the trigger on an Icon Stage 5 kit. All the front end pieces are in right now. But the rear shocks are on back order. I also purchased a Halo lifts rear block (2.5"). I plan to get the fronts installed this coming Sunday. My first question is for the Icon UCA. What is the best grease to use? I have read in one thread that there is a certain grease to use but i can not find it..
I currently have the stock 18" wheels on the truck but I also have the factory 6 spoke 20" wheels as well. I think I am leaning towards the 20" wheels with either Cooper STT Pros or the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The Nittos have a lot more sizes to pick from. From all my research it looks like the max width I can run is 11.5". I also do not want to run spacers but we shall see. Once I have the fronts installed I will know better what size tire I can run. My goal is to make the truck handle better both on and off road. I do not plan to try to stuff the largest tires in there and ideally I do not want to do any trimming. I plan to run these coil overs with 1.75"-2.25" of lift. The nice thing is being able to adjust these coilovers while they are still on the truck.
i will post up pictures later.

Can you measure the coilover from the top hat down to the mounting stud I'd like to know if these are longer then the stock ones? Thanks

I will be installing the front end pieces tomorrow. still waiting on the rear shocks to come off back order.
I have decided on Lucas marine grease. I wanted to get some energy suspension formula 5 pre lube but I could not find it at any parts stores by me. I think the marine grease will be tacky enough and being water proof will help.
The tires I am looking at will depend once I have everything all on the front end and I can take some measurements.
I am looking at the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro in either 275/65R20 (10.9x34.49) or the 295/60R20 (11.5x34.29)
Or I am looking at the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in either 275/65R20 (10.98x34.09), 285/65R20 (11.5x34.8), or the 285/60R20 (11.5x33.70). I think the height of all these tires will be ok but I am worried about the width on all them. I think the 11.5 width is pushing it but I will just have to see where the stock rubber lines up with the UCA and the hose for the remote res.
Anyone with some last minute advice on things to look out for when doing this?
