Default 2017 F150 Heated/Cooled seats not working

I have a 2017 F150 Lariat SuperCrew. This week I started having an issue with the heated/cooled seats on the driver's side seat. The controls to heat or cool light up, but the seat doesn't actually heat or cool. The passenger side and rear seats work. Any ideas on how to diagnose? I searched the site but didn't see anything (except for 2014 F150 or earlier).

Check the connections under the seat.

@ray_f150 Did you ever get this resolved? I am having the exact same issue. I also noticed that the fan in the seat will turn off after 30 seconds.

I would almost expect that to be one of the fuses under the hood if it's affecting both seats.

I just experienced the exact issue. My driver side seat stopped working in my 2017 F150 Lariat SuperCrew and I brought it to the dealership. They replaced my seat heater and sent me on my way saying it was fixed. On the way home it wasn't working. I called them and it took me 3 weeks to get into the dealership, and in the interim my mileage went over the warranty period. They looked harder and determined that the venting in the seat itself was compressed and broken which lead to the heater dying, and now they want me to pay $700 for their failure to properly determine the issue in the first place.. ugg..

replace the seat air filter or just remove it
it's not as big as the picture it's about 2 in round
look under the seat and pull it off and the ac & heat will work again

How does an air filter cause the heated seats to not work?

There is a senser that can tell it dirty and won't let it turn on Probably a safety thing
