Default 2017 F150 Ecoboost Borla Atak + catless down pipe.

I knew it was going to be loud, however not this loud.
Neighbors never said anything, but I knew they were not happy with things vibrating inside their home.

Then I got a Vibrant 1142 Resonator. It's perfect, no drone or high rattle. I still have the nice loud turbo whistle and I can hear the BOV.

Vibrant 1142

I installed the K&N 3" Cat Back on my 2019 with the 3.5 EB it was to raspy without a Resonator and even with the Vibrant 1794 Bottle Style Resonator it was much better but still to raspy!!I then installed the Vibrant 1142 Ultra Quite like you used and i'm pretty happy with the exhaust now especially for the price $499.99 not counting the Resonator price and the K&N exhaust is 304 Stainless even the hooks that install into the factory rubber hangers are 304 Stainless!!I Although i still have the factory down pipes on my truck,i need to post some Video clips on here one of these days of it and it's a nice looking exhaust IMO!!Also FWIW my truck's nowhere near as loud as yours!!

Taking the cats out really makes a difference, the Atak is already a loud straight through system, removing cats from the equation really allows the harshness to come through (they'd smooth out the sharp sound you get)

It’s a lot louder than the Roush system (with cats, no resonator) that I have. How’s the drone at driving speed?

I had the ATAK on my v8, never on EB 3.5. To each his own :-)

No drone... With the Vibrant 1142. This little 3" resonator is very good.
