Default 2017 F150 3.5L Ecoboost Front License Plate Bracket - Where to Install?

Hello Folks,
I just bought a new 2017 F150 Platinum - 3.5L Ecoboost from a dealership in PA last weekend. After driving it for over a hour and a half to NJ (where I live), I realized it didn't have a front license plate bracket. According to the state law, I need both front and rear plates.

If you have a 2017 F150 - 3.5 L Ecoboost and have a front license plate bracket on it, can you please tell me if you had it installed in the center or to the side? I read mixed suggestions online for the Ecoboost and wanted to know how you have had it installed. Any photos would be great!

Thanks!

The bracket goes in the center of the front bumper. The old bodies had them mounted to the side.

I took mine off. It is in the center. If you need one I have one.

I like the offset mount like the 11-14 EB trucks, have thought about fabbing up a bracket to mount it that way, maybe using the tow hook mounting location, but haven't looked into it much yet.

im about to just bend my front plate to match contour of the bread pan, and just use some self tapping screws

That's what I did. I owned a 2011 and a 2014 Ecoboost FX4 so I kinda like the side mount anyway.
Also it says in the Raptor owners manual supplement "Remove the front license plate before off-roading to achieve optimal performance". So I figured why block the opening at all then?

Not there if you have adaptive cruise. The radar would be behind your license plate in that case.

My plain jane truck doesn't have adaptive cruise.
There's a few guys on the Raptor forum that put their plates on the passenger side.
