Congrats! I can understand why you’re so proud of it! I also just bought my very first brand new truck almost 2 weeks ago. It’s also Race Red and I’m very proud of it.

If any of you 5.0 bandit's are in need of a new battery. Sam's club has the Duracell h7 agm Platinum battery for $144. and some change. I just picked one up myself. Battery plus sells them for 256 or so. Time to get your cranks off. Haha

Got my Borla XR-1 installed today. Go to my build thread in my signature for some low budget videos, lol. It was exactly what I wanted. Just a straight muffler swap (shop installed). The part # is 40085 and the exit of the muffler went straight to the tail pipe and they used a collector from the front of the muffler which is 3" to tie into the 2.5" factory resonator pipe (that looks to be about 18" of 2.5" stainless).

Thanks

Sig has most mods listed. Offroad bumper with leds, camo interior, camo ford emblems, plastidip f150 side emblems, lift, 18x9 fuel vapors with 35 in mud tires, black tool box...future mods are rear wheel well liners by husky and dual exhaust. Trying to decide between magnaflow, flowmaster, or borla

Went and listened on your build thread, nice install and sounds terrific. Borla really makes your 5.0 sing!!!!

Yes its nice and deep and not too loud. As far as drone, there is zero. I've had mufflers that drone. This one is a little loud around 75, but anything under 65 is almost not noticeable with the radio at 8 or 9.

Had I ordered an 18, it would have come with a 10 speed, overkill for the way I drive.
.
Same reasons i specifically chose the 5.0 although i do tow a small garden trailer once in a great while.
The 5.0 has less moving parts to break.
Also average about 21 to 22 mpg which is good enough for me.
Yeah i agree, IMO the 10 speed is over kill.

I purchased my 2017 5.0 in September after trading in my 2014 3.5 EB. I love my 5.0, I had Corsa pipes put on the truck and I can't stay out of the gas!
