Yeah if you shift too slow when passing reverse it'll kick back on.

That's when you push the button to turn it off.

I do, or you can click tow/ haul if leaning forwards is sounds like too much work.

Both of those will disable the start-stop and restart the engine, and this is to prevent people from forgetting their truck is still "running" and getting out. If it was still in drive and you got out, it would start crawling away from you
LOL! I unbuckled opened the drivers door and was at the front of the truck when it restarted. The engine was not even warm.

I have a 3.5 EB and in the driver's cluster settings, there's a place to disable the auto start/stop. It's inoperable on the 3.5. I've read it's in there as a "future" option. Isn't it on the 2.7 cluster settings? It would turn it off semi-permanently until you go back into settings and re-enable it and you wouldn't have to turn it off every time you start. Just a thought.

So you have 3.5 (2015 or 2016?) that has a button like this next to your Emergency Flasher button?

Then you might have a problem for 2 reasons. 1) It should have restarted immediately, and 2) It shouldn't shut down if the engine isn't warmed up. It should be checked out by a tech for sure.

No, I have no such button but there's a place in "my" cluster screen settings to turn "on" or "off" a non-existent Auto Start/Stop mode. I've turned it on in hopes it was a hidden feature and it does nothing. I would presume that 2.7 EBs have the same such setting to enable or disable. My truck is a 2015 3.5 EB.

That is the only button I have. I only have XLT Sport model, I have the 8" MFT, but not the 8" digital cluster that you have, so I don't know if the Lariot, KR, or Platinum 2.7's have another Stop/Start option like you have.

I'd be interested in seeing a picture of that on your display. Also if any higher level 2.7 owners out there could check and see if they have that as well? Would be interesting to know as well.
