Default 2017 Caliper Finish?

Hi guys,

Just wondering what if any finish is on the calipers. Mine are bright silver and look good but I want them to stay that way. Is that a finish on them or are they gonna rust?

Thanks
Geo

Rust-Oleum makes caliper paint in silver, red, black, and blue. Works great but like anything you paint, it's all about prep so ya got to follow their directions. They also sell the cleaner but I think Brake Kleen would do the job as I don't think it leaves a residue.

Your calipers are coated, but it will rust eventually. Get the caliper paint like Cobrajunkie mentioned and take your time on the prep. Painting is 95% prep and 5% painting.

I agree 100%, the prep is everything and make sure they are very clean especially from any brake dust.

But they will look amazing and last.

Check out G2 caliper paint. http://g2usa.com/ it's a 2 part paint that you brush on. I've used it a bunch of times and the stuff is durable as hell since it has the hardener that aerosols don't have. Dries to real nice gloss. Very good stuff.
