No problems here on 16XLT in north Texas with regular high 90s-low100s temps. I keep my Recirculating at the last notch and speed on 2 or 3 and keeps it nice and chilly

No complaints here, either, although I'm not on the surface of Mars like my colleague Iamraiderpower is.

My '16 XLT blows ice cubes, and on 90-degree days, but the truck has be moving and Recirculation selected. It's quite possible that your truck didn't get enough refrigerant when assembled. Take it to the dealer as you were planning to do.

If you have an Screw, you gotta remember how much greenhouse there is to cool, too. There's a lot of airspace in these big trucks.

Yea it does take a minute or two to cool down this big mother, but remote start fixes that

Man it feels like mars! Temp will be 105* 85-90% humidity with heat index of like 112*

Ugh.

Are you sure about that heat index, though? To me, 105* + 90% = 1000*F.

And along with all the neat things a new (or a Certified Pre Owned) truck has to offer, the AC in my truck is one of the best. The rest are: ride and handling, the great power rack and pinion steering, the fantastic six-speed trans behind an incredible four-cam four-valve sports car V8. But, I digress...

I used to shy from traveling much across my region with it's massive traffic. Now, it's much more comfortable to endure because of my truck's luxury performance and with ice cubes blowing from the vents...

Agree with the others saying not as cold as other newer vehicles, but don't think anything is wrong either. My 15 is the same. I'm in OK.

My 2016 Lariat Screw can freeze you out without going into max AC. First off, I didn't order it with the sun roof, so that cuts that source of heat out. Then we keep it on auto, set at about 68. We have been seeing mid 90's with 90+ humidity (feels like 110-115) for almost 2 months here in southern GA and the truck is much more comfortable than the house in the late afternoon/evening after sun baking all day.

I have been noticing that my AC is running almost at max to keep me comfortable, Its a 2017 SCREW, We've been getting temps in the high 90,s or mid to high 30'sC here in Canada. As mentioned there is a lot of real estate to cool in the Screw but......
