Whoa.. Maybe I'm naïve or something but $9,245 off sticker sounds like an excellent freakin' deal. You're asking what to counter? Like, more money off? What am I missing?

That truck should be priced closer to $30k. If you're anywhere near $40k they should be giving you a crew cab.

LOL 30k? When the msrp is 50k? Pretty soon Ford might offer buy one get one free?

We don't know what rebates are available in your area, so it's hard to tell. Find out what invoice pricing is, plan to pay 1 or 2k below invoice, then figure all rebates after that.

I was thinking "trucks have really gone up". I bought my 11 new. 502A Lariat Screw, 6.5 foot box. Out the door was $38K. Your MSRP is $52? I just built a my exact lariat, 2016 of course, on the Ford website.......$52K MSRP. How is a XLT supercab listing for $52?

Edit: Sorry, the 502A went away when I hit heavy duty payload. The MSRP is $56 with 502A, but still only 4k higher than the one you're looking at.

Works fine for me...

"Off MSRP" is meaningless. As countless threads discuss, work from INVOICE, get a SmartVincent printout of rebates, and deal from a position of knowledge.
