Default 2016 XL v8 RWD

I just bought this truck and noticed the passenger leaf springs look like they are bent. It pulls a bit to the left as well. I'm planning on replacing the entire rear differential and was wondering, how do you tell what the ring gear number is, whether or not it has electronic locking, and what the ratio is? I've never done an entire assembly so I'd appriciate the help. The while.thing costs about 1500 and I'd like to get it right the first time.
Here's where I'm planning on buying it from. https://automotix.net/usedautoparts/2016-ford-f_150-rear_axle_assembly-product-d331119439i.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwrdmhBhBBEiwA4Hx5g-j_9BhTLFhm7EUnKQSYkU0HaRE1n5RavTXwXTPmnS9NNt17rwZN yxoCMNcQAvD_BwE

Welcome.

The stickers on your door frame should help you with axle codes. If you post a picture of those here, other way more knowledgeable folks around here will help you out.

Look for the VC Label inside the driver's door jamb. It will look like this:

Item 8 is the Rear Axle Code. Here are what the codes are:

15 - 3.15 ratio, non-limited slip
19 - 3.55 ratio, non-limited slip
26 – 3.73 ratio, non-limited slip
27 - 3.31 ratio, non-limited slip
L3 - 3.31 ratio, electronic locking differential
L5 - 3.15 ratio, electronic locking differential
L6 - 3.73 ratio, electronic locking differential
L9 - 3.55 ratio, electronic locking differential

If it has an 8.8" differential the diff cover looks like this:

If it has a 9.75" then it looks like this:

Default Ring gear?

My next question is how do you tell which ring gear you have? The options are 9.75" or 8.8". I'm assuming the larger one since the axle is over 3200lbs according to the sticker, but I don't want to try and return this thing 🤣

The previous post shows you how to tell the difference. Just look at the diff from the back of the truck and compare your cover to the ones in the photos.
