So I have read posts here for the past few months trying to educate myself here on getting my 2016 XLT mirror swapped to the towing mirrors. First off I have the 8-pin harness (as shown in the picture) and I think that I will need a couple of adapters such as these I found on eBay.

I see there is an option for Spot/Parking Light and Puddle lamp but the tow mirrors for the XLT should not have that is my understanding.

And from the PDF I found online I would need the following mirrors... I do not need power fold or telescoping I am OK with manual and the part numbers listed below should have the mirror heat, power adjust, turn signals, marker lights (if I hook up the parking light wire), spot lamps (if I hook up the parking light wire) and auto dimming on the drivers side only. My drivers side currently has the dimming option.

What am I missing here?

The driver's side AC mirror is NOT auto-dimming

In order to make the spot lamps operational, you will need to add the processor, LH vent and spot lamp switch.
In order to make the puddle lamps operational, you will need to reprogram the DDM & PDM

Both the puddle lamps and spot lamps will require new door harnesses.
