I have had the same issue. Simply go in sync and delete your phone from the bluetooth list. Then re-activate the phone.

On the MKZ it was way under the dash, and I think it was a 10 or 15 amp and fuse #32 or #33. In manual they were labeled CD/Sirius/Amp nothing said "Sync" or "radio" that I recall....

From what I found it is #32 on the inside fuse panel under the glovebox area. I'll pull it tonight and try.

Justin, it won't even pair a phone at this point.

Pulled #32 fuse. Had to start the truck with the emergency key slot. The push button start doesn't work with #32 pulled. Anyway, 32 was the fuse and once put back, I was able to get the phone paired.

Great - glad it worked, I didn't try to start the MKZ with the fused pulled, I pulled it, waited about 5 seconds, and then plugged it back in and started it.

Good to know incase my truck starts doing it....

Me too!!!

It has been acting up for the past year! I have unpaired, hard reset, soft reset, unplugged the battery, etc. I have not tried to pull the fuse yet. Did that work? My USB also on the fritz along with my GPS/maps!!

Dealer was no help. Was told it would be $300 to have them update the software. Ugh. I love my truck, but I am ready to blow it up, or trade the darn thing in for a GM!!

Ditto with my '14 F150. Once or twice a year I had to pull the fuse. PITA, cause it always seemed to happen when it was freezing out, but it fixed it right up every time.
