It looks real nice, would like to know how tall it is now? I'm thinking about doing the same thing if it fits in the garage.

Also what kind of money are we talking about?

Truck looks great! Mine is silver also and I'm going to be doing a 4" Fabtech & coilovers with 20x9 Fuel D569 Vapors +1mm on BFG KO2 285/65/20.

Whats a setup like this run? I like it because its not over the top. I have had 2 truck and never did anything with them. I'm studying for my next truck here. I'm going for a Blue Jeans King Ranch or Platinum Super Crew. I want a little extra show than a stock truck but not much more. How does this effect ride? And here in PA we get a hell of a lot of salt on the roads and it kills trucks. What happens when one of these lift parts goes. Am I going to be able to buy replacement parts.

Please don't think I am ignorant. I just never owned a lifted truck. I have a 96 Mustang with a stroked carbed 351w. I'm a Mustang guy wanting to have a nice truck. Which leads me to another question. Potentially going to be pulling that Stang around. How does a lift effect towing.

When you buy a BDS lift kit they have a no questions asked, no BS, no fine print warranty. The best warranty on the market. If you brake it they replace the parts for free. Zone Offroad is also owned by fox (which owns BDS as well). Zone Offroad is just a little lighter more budget friendly lift kit. A BDS 4" lift will run you about 1600 without tax or install (that's sticking with the basics and without upgrading to fox coilovers.) as far as towing and ride quality goes the lift isn't going to phase the truck much. The biggest factor is going to be your tire option and the air pressure you run in them.

I currently own the BDS 6" lift with fox coilovers and fox rear shocks. Zero issues with it and absolutely love it. Only brand of lift I'll buy for an f-150.

Do you still have a slight rake with the kit, if so how much?

Stage3 love the beige truck. I was wondering how the 4" can be so close to your 6" also. If I go with a lift it will be bds with coils.

Because BDS, among others, sell the same front drop kits for both the 4 and 6 kits. The only difference is the spacers. They really aren't providing a 6" kit, its a 4" kit stretched to 6". And to top that off, usually the 6" kits end up coming in around 5.25"=5.5" while the 4" kits come in at a full 4-4.25". So thus, you get the same effect basically. With better CV angles and BJ angles on the 4. (this is a general statement, not aimed directly at 2015+ f150s)

Rough Country is another, note they sell 4, 5, and 6. SAME kit. different spacers.

FTS sells a true 6" kit. They also sell a 8" kit, same deal, stretched 6.

I believe the fabtech kit is a real 6, they are notorious for providing more than adveterised so it could be closer to 6.5-7. They do seem to look bigger.

Not 100% sure on procomp, but I think its also a true 6.

They do the same deal with Ram 1500 as well. And probably with GM 1500s, but I don't look at those much .

In lamens terms, half of the 6 inch kits on the market are 4 inch lifts with leveling kits on top.

No. There's no rake. With the coilovers they are adjustable so you can crank them up or down till you get them the way you want them. Even with the spacer kit it is intended to give you a level stance. With the spacer kits they use the different size rear blocks to change you from level, rake, or Cali lean.

What the hell is "Cali lean?" Is that the "my dog has worms and drags its ass across the carpet stance?"

Hahahahaha. That would be it! That's the best reference for it that I've ever heard!
