Default 2016 Order Guide

Contact Holiday Ford in Whitesboro, TX. They sell for invoice minus $1,000 minus holdback (which is 3% of MSRP) minus rebates. Talk to Vicki or Michael Timpson. They sell to folks from out of state all the time. Fly to Texas and drive your new baby home.

I came across them from other folks on this forum who've bought from them, and they are the real deal. Just do a search for Holiday Ford on this forum and you can read all about them.

Those are great deals if you live close by but I wonder how much savings it really is after you fly and drive home?

Airfare, Hotel(s), Gas and at least a blown weekend. I'd probably need to come out $2000 ahead after the expenses for it to be worth it for me personally.

I contacted them three times by email and twice by phone and am still awaiting a quote. I ended up going with Vernon because they were on the spot responding and up front with the same price..

It all depends where you live and if you are close to a city that can get a cheap flight. If you can find a 1-way ticket for $200 or less, including hotels and gas; most are out $500 to save minimum $2k if you are working with an invoice price dealer. Some area dealers won't even do invoice so you are saving $3-7k+. It all depends on your area and dealers...

It's a great deal for most unless you live in Cali or somewhere with crazy rules and can't purchase out of state and bring it home.

FYI, any state that requires the California emissions on their vehicles, Texas dealers cannot sell F150's to. But they can sell 250's and 350's. Different regulations

They can't sell them anyway unless they meet the ridiculous Cali rules or used car mileage crap...

This is not exactly correct, but your intent is in the right direction

Most TX (and other states) don't default order the CA emissions pkg on the vehicle, but you'll find them on lots from time/time ... these can be sold into CAFE emissions states

Or, if you're ordering from TX for one of these CAFE states, make absolutely sure the dealer orders the CA emissions pkg

Newbie here..... I was gonna get a 2015 Lariat last week but with really only 3K in incentives, I've decided to order a 2016. My 1st truck. Tired of jacking up the inside of SUV's hauling my crap. I have towed with my SUV in the past-- trailers here and there but nothing major. Please give me opinions on the difference/need between Max Tow Package (53c) and regular tow package (53A). My brother swears I need the integrated brake.

Any other "must haves?"
Gonna do 502a
moonroof
Extended fuel tank (why not?!)
Spray in bedliner
Tailgate step
Inflatable rear seatbelt (I have 2 small kids)

Thanks in advance!
